Every Friends of the Earth Local Group can have a single webpage hosted on Friends of the Earth's national website.
This page can be kept up to date by group members as often as you like - you don't need to have any particular web skills, you simply fill in an online form.
You can use the address of your group's page in your publicity materials, and when someone looks for their nearest Friends of the Earth group on the website they'll be directed to your page.
An example can be seen at www.foe.co.uk/bolton.
The page is very simple - basically text only - with the coordinator's contact details and three sections of text (where and when you meet, an introduction to the group, and a bit about your current campaigns).
To use the system, simply email us with your email address, your name, and the name of the group - you'll then receive instructions on how to carry out the updates.
If you want a more detailed site for your group, you will need to arrange hosting elsewhere. There are so many companies offering this that it is impossible to recommend which you use - but if you email us we may be able to point you in the right direction.
There is a template available if you want to create your own site - each of the compressed files below contains an HTML template, a stylesheet and a logo.
