You can use this page to say what you're up to, and to let people know where you meet. If you want to set up your own website, we also offer templates and ways of easily including Friends of the Earth content in your site. More information on websites for local groups. Update your detailsYou can now change the contact details for your local group, and also update us on what your group is working on, using this simple online form. Campaign networksThese are the main ways to get involved with Friends of the Earth's campaigns. Campaign Networks enable local campaigners to do more campaigning than is possible through working solely on one-off actions. Find out more about networks. Mailing Friends of the Earth national supportersIf you would like to mail national Friends of the Earth supporters in your area (for example, to tell them about your recently established local group, or a public meeting that you're organising) this can be done through a low-cost mailing service. Please read our guidelines (PDF) for more details. You can also get inspiration from mailings sent out by groups in South Hams, Manchester and Taunton. Email discussion groupsSubscribe to an issue-specific email list to discuss campaigns and exchange know-how with fellow campaigners. Find a list of existing email discussion groups here. Visual identity kitSeveral downloadable templates are available for local groups to use - these include templates for : headed paper; fax cover sheets; press releases; newsletters; web pages; DIY posters; welcome letter; and a local information sheet. Some of these resources are bilingual (e.g. Welsh/English). The Friends of the Earth logos are also available here.
