Consultation on working with companies

At Conference 2007, local groups asked us to review our guidelines for working with companies. In response, we are consulting with staff and local groups to hear views on our current policy and potential changes. For local groups, this consultation has two parts:

1. Discussion sessions at May’s Regional Gatherings, to help inform your thinking and hear other people’s views,
2. An online questionnaire for local group members (whether individually or on behalf of your group) to give us your views.

The online questionnaire has now closed. The results will be collated and analysed by independent consultants, and findings will be presented to Friends of the Earth's management team, who will decide on any amendments to our existing policy.

Feedback about the final decision – what it is and why it was reached - will be given by the end of August 2008.
