Friends of the Earth > Local Groups > Southwark
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the Herne Tavern, 2 Forest Hill Road, SE22 0RR.
We cover the whole of Southwark, encompassing Peckham, Camberwell, Dulwich/East Dulwich, Bermondsey, Elephant & Castle, Nunhead, Rotherhithe and Walworth.
Membership is £10 per year or £5 for discounts (students/pensioners/unemployed).
Nationally - We're focussing on the Fix the Food Chain campaign.
Locally - We are particularly working on a plastic bag reduction scheme in Peckham, a new group devoted to food issues, particularly finding new growing spaces, called Growing Southwark and on an ongoing basis with planning, transport, waste and recycling issues.
