Anti-incineration Summit
This event took place on 28 Oct, 2006

The original description of this event was :

Friends of the Earth hosted this anti-incineration summit, which was attended by over fifty experienced waste campaigners representing 29 different local groups fighting the expansion of incineration. The activists discussed the way forward for fighting incineration applications and their ideas for developing a network of anti-incineration groups. Everyone present felt that there was a need for this and several people volunteered to form a working group to take the proposal forward. A presentation on London’s plans for dealing its waste from Deputy Mayor of London Nicky Gavron will be added to this page shortly. Please contact beckys@foe.co.uk for more information on the proposed network.
