The original description of this event was :
This workshop will identify the key stages of an event planning process; from the first steps of identifying the aims & objectives for an event through to the design, development, planning, delivery and evaluation stages of the event. By going through the stages of an event planning process, the group will identify the nature / type of events local groups organise (common characteristics and limitations), the key ingredients involved (stewards, press, venue, promotion etc.) and will focus on how creative solutions can help us all organise more successful events in the future.
Various documents from the event are available below. These will usually be in PDF format.
