Conference Workshop: Supermarkets
This event took place on 10 Sep, 2005

The original description of this event was :

Find out why we need to curb the power of large supermarkets, who are dominating the food chain both in the UK and overseas. Learn about our plans for strengthening regulations to stop them putting suppliers out of business and destroying the high street. And hear our thoughts on the alternatives to supermarkets, and how we can support them. We’ll be looking at ways that local groups can take the Curb Supermarket Power campaign back to their local area, particularly with respect to supporting the alternatives to supermarkets. We’ll be thinking about future actions and what kind of materials and support you’ll need to take this campaign forward and support local businesses in your community.
