A chance to hear Canadian Farmer Percy Schmeiser talk about the effect that growing GM crops commercially is having in his home country.
Learn about his ten year struggle with the giant GM company Monsanto. After his land was contaminated with GM seeds, Monsanto accused him of infringing their patent rights. But this year he finally managed to sue them in the small claims court.

Communities Cutting the Cost of Carbon - conference

Earthwatch Debate: Irreplaceable - the World's Most Invaluable Species
The ever-popular and thought-provoking Earthwatch Debate this year focuses on the world's most irreplaceable species - choose between bees, bats, fungi, plankton and primates (but not man!), championed by leaders in their field.

On the Push is an inspiring story about how Anne Gallagher, an ordinary surfer girl from Wales, learns about the serious threat of climate change and how a surfer can help protect the marine environment.
