About this group
Cardiff FoE is a very active group, campaigning on a wide range of environmental issues. These include energy, food, waste, transport, trade justice and planning.
Our activities include:
- holding election hustings,
- responding to planning applications,
- participating in demonstrations at the National Assembly, e.g. for renewable energy and against GM,
- running stalls and activities at several festivals and on the High St,
- regular campaign stalls at the local farmers market
- helping to set up the Cardiff Social Forum,
- lobbying MP's and AM's
- taking part in Stop Esso events.
