Other resources

The following resources will provide you with more background information on the negative impacts of the supermarkets, and further information on how to run campaigns.

Running a campaign

Community Rights Resource Pack
This pack consists of an accessible yet comprehensive set of campaigner guides. It looks into the main ways you can get involved in planning and environmental decision-making; and is a valuable tool for anyone campaigning against supermarket developments.

How to guides
Our How to... guides cover years of expert campaigning tips and tricks. They are written for Friends of the Earth local groups, but should also be useful for anyone wanting to make a difference in their local area. They cover all aspects of campaigning, from running a stall to getting letters in your local paper. This will help to generate valuable support for your planning objection.
