GM-Free Businesses
On this page, you'll find resources to help you get involved with the
GM-free Businesses campaign in your local area. For more general
details about our food campaigns see our sister website: http://www.foe.co.uk/campaigns/real_food/.
The GM-free
Britain campaign has been highly successful so far, around 60
local authorities have passed resolutions opposing GM crops and food.
Now it's time for the Government to hear from the thousands of
food businesses that will be directly affected if GM crops are grown
or further GM food imports allowed.
This campaign will also help support and strengthen existing
GM-free Britain
campaigns: if you are in an area where your local council has refused
to budge, gaining the support of local businesses will be a great help.
If your council has already passed a resolution, this will help to strengthen
local opposition further.
All the resources you will need are below - don't forget to let
us know how you are getting on.
