When and where?
We meet on the last Monday of the month at the Twyn Community Centre in Caerphilly at 7.30pm.
Except this month when we are meeting on the Tuesday instead.

About this group
We are campaigning to make Caerphilly a plastic bag free town, following on from initiatives of other towns around the country. Plastic bags are a very obvious symbol of our wasteful way of life and the solutions are readily available so we are building a netowrk of interested groups and individuals to help us with our campaign.

What can I do?
There are many ways people can help and get involved.
You can help by:
• Joining in with letter/email writing campaigns
• Taking part in demonstrations
• Staffing a group information stall at a fair or fete in the summer
• Monitoring the local press for environmental stories of interest to the group
• Running a website for the group
• Organising fundraising events
• Simply joining in with like minded people and having some fun!
