When and where?
We are a new group which started in March this year.
We meet on the last Wednesday of every month at
Barnsley Central Library, Shambles Street
7.30pm to 9pm.
New members always welcome
About this group
We started in March this year and had our first action on Saturday 5th April when we set up in Peel Square and asked people to support a stronger Climate Bill. We just asked people to send a postcard to Gordon Brown asking him to include the Aviation Industry in the law on Emissions. Lots of people did.
It's a great mix of people and new members are always welcome
What's going on
We believe that we can have an impact on the environment and that includes local issues like litter and recycling.
