When and where?
We normally meet in a pub in either Southgate or High Barnet. Meetings are generally on Thursday evenings every four weeks.
About this group
This group was launched in August 2006. The group covers Barnet and Enfield. This is a very large area and therefore locations of campaigning often reflect to some degree where members live. What's going on
Our main project currently is helping to support the local Educational Environmental Centre, which is under threat. Individual members of our group also participate in the campaign against the proposed new runway at Heathrow and work with other local environmental groups to promote cycling. In October we intend to join in with the Friends of the Earth national campaign on renewables.
